A Magazine Curated By explores the universe of a different fashion designer invited as the guest curator of each issue. In collaboration with the magazine's editorial team, the guest curator develops innovative, personalized content to express their aesthetic and cultural values. Each issue celebrates this designer's ethos: their people, their passion, their stories, emotions, fascinations, spontaneity and authenticity. Over 20 years of history with fashion’s most respected and influential designers, A MAGAZINE curated by is the most personal project of their careers. To celebrate our 20th anniversary, we’ve invited all our curators back to create a special limited edition publication that will launch during Paris Fashion Week in March 2025.
The issue will include archival work brought into a contemporary context alongside new work made for this special project. Each designer has a chapter to themselves, where they’re invited to explore their work and inspirations — carte blanche, like every issue of A MAGAZINE curated by. In addition to these curated chapters, we have invited each designer to participate in a conversation with one another designer from our history, a special addition to the publication, crossing generations, cultures and disciplines, and will be presented in a separate format from the main publication. These once-in-a-lifetime dialogues could not exist anywhere else but in A MAGAZINE curated by.
The community of A MAGAZINE curated by is a dynamic fusion of minds, from creatives across disciplines to professionals leading industry from across the globe. Converging this 20th anniversary will be a collective of trailblazers, tastemakers and visionaries, each one bringing their unique perspective and culture to the table.
